This artwork was selected from the personal collection inherited by Marina Picasso, his granddaughter. After Picasso’s death in 1973, Marina authorized these original lithographs, known as the Picasso Estate Collection. A lithograph is an authorized copy of an original artwork. As the process for creating a lithograph can be just as detailed as a painting, editions are limited to preserve value. These lithographs were meticulously printed after the original works by Master Chromist Laurent Marcel Salinas, who worked closely with Picasso. These rare and highly desirable prints are sold in galleries internationally. Each of the 1000 limited edition lithograph posters has an Estate-Approved Picasso signature printed below the artwork image and Collection Marina Picasso copyright info in typeset. Each print is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. A later work, this print illustrates how Picasso used his early Cubist landscape techniques in his later landscapes. Original: 1954, Publication: 1982. Publisher: Estate of Picasso (Marina Picasso).
